Something New...

As a Canadian I pride myself in knowing basic things about my country....like that kind of animals are on our coins. If anyone had asked me only 10 minutes ago what they were I would have said:

Maple leaf (not an animal, I know)
Beaver
Bluenose (again, I know)
Moose
Loon
Polar Bear

However, whilst looking for ideas for a new lesson for next week I stumbled across a game on money adapted for Canadian vs Korean currency. The original poster had labeled the animal on the quarter as being a moose. Someone corrected them....said it was a caribou...

Who knew? Guess you learn something new everyday...
